Got laid off by Meta 2 weeks ago. It is a major pivot in my transition from a college grad to a software engineer.
Not having all the infrastructure people working for you means having to do everything yourself. Thankfully people have made developing easier by providing all the convenient web services.
Have been thinking about my career in the past two weeks. I haven’t been learning for a while after accepting the offer from Meta. The idea was to transform to a experienced engineer while doing the job. Well the plan was interrupted so this is my first approach to start learning again.
